Why Consider a Diagnostic Assessment?

A comprehensive psychological assessment can provide valuable insight into how you think, feel, and function. Whether you are navigating emotional challenges, seeking answers to long-standing concerns, or need documentation for school, work, or medical support, an evaluation can help bring clarity and direction.

Our assessments are designed for teens (ages 13+) and adults, and the entire process is conducted virtually for your comfort and convenience.

Our evaluations can help with:

  • Guiding therapy or counseling

  • Supporting psychiatric or medical care

  • Understanding challenges at school, college, or work

  • Providing documentation for accommodations

  • Gaining insight into personal strengths and needs

  • Meeting eligibility requirements for services like ABA therapy

  • Connecting with community or educational resources

What We Assess

We offer virtual psychological evaluations for a range of concerns, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety and Panic Disorders

  • Depression and Mood Disorders

  • Learning Differences and Processing Disorders

  • Personality Disorders

  • Substance Use Concerns

  • Eating Disorders

  • And other emotional, behavioral, or cognitive challenges

If you are unsure whether an assessment is right for you or your teen, we will help you decide during the initial consultation.

What to Expect

We aim to make the assessment process clear, collaborative, and as stress-free as possible. Here's how it works:

  1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a virtual meeting to discuss your concerns, explain the process, and determine what areas the evaluation should focus on.

  2. Clinical Interview
We speak with you (or your teen) to learn more about current concerns, background, and history. With permission, we may also include input from a parent, caregiver, or other important person.

  3. Information Gathering
We may request feedback from therapists, teachers, or other professionals involved in your care, with your consent, to get a well-rounded view.

  4. Virtual Testing
You will complete online assessments tailored to your specific needs. These may include questionnaires, cognitive tasks, and other standardized tools.

  5. Scoring and Report Preparation
After reviewing and interpreting the results, we prepare a detailed written report that includes diagnoses (if applicable) and practical recommendations.

  6. Feedback Session
Once the report is ready, we meet with you virtually to go over the results, answer your questions, and discuss next steps.

What You’ll Receive

At the end of the evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive written report that includes:

  • Any applicable diagnoses

  • Personalized recommendations for therapy, school, work, or medical care

  • Documentation to support accommodations or services

  • Guidance on next steps for treatment or support

Turnaround time depends on the type of evaluation and our scheduling availability. We will provide you with an estimated timeline at the start of the process.

Insurance and Payment Options

We offer several payment options to meet your needs:

  • We accept select insurance plans

  • Out-of-network billing is available (supports in place for possible reimbursement)

  • Care Credit may be an option if you currently have, or are interested in being approved with them.

  • Private pay options are also available for those not using insurance

We are happy to discuss your insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options during your consultation.

Diagnosis Assessment FAQs

Who are your assessments for?

We offer psychological and diagnostic assessments for teens (ages 13 and up) and adults. Whether you are seeking clarity about mental health concerns, exploring a possible diagnosis, or need documentation for school, work, or treatment, we can help.

What conditions or concerns do you assess for?

We provide evaluations for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Learning Differences

  • Personality Disorders

  • Substance Use Concerns

  • Eating Disorders

  • And other emotional or cognitive challenges

If you're not sure what you need to be evaluated for, we’ll help determine that during your initial consultation.

What if I’m not sure I need an assessment?

That’s okay. The initial consultation is designed to help you decide if an evaluation is the right next step. We’ll talk through your concerns, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward — or help you find another path if an assessment isn’t needed.

Are the assessments completely virtual?

Yes. The entire assessment process, including consultation, interviews, testing, and feedback, is conducted virtually using secure video and digital tools. You can complete everything from the comfort of your home, with no need to travel.

What does the assessment include?

Our assessments typically include:

  • A virtual consultation to plan the evaluation

  • Clinical interviews with you (and a caregiver, if appropriate)

  • Online testing using secure platforms

  • Input from professionals or family members (with your consent)

  • A comprehensive written report

  • A feedback session to go over your results and recommendations

Is the process confidential?

Will I receive a diagnosis?
