Texas LPC Associate Supervision
Starting out as an LPC-Associate can feel like a lot all at once. New clients, new responsibilities, and so many moments of “am I doing this right?” At Heard Counseling, supervision with Kaitlyn Lewis, LPC-S is designed to meet you right in that space, with support that feels grounding, approachable, and real.
This is a place to ask the questions you’re not sure you’re “supposed” to ask, to talk through sessions honestly, and to build your confidence one step at a time. We focus on helping you find your voice as a clinician while also making sure you feel supported behind the scenes.
We work with associates across Texas, from Houston to Dallas, Austin to San Antonio, and offer fully virtual sessions so supervision can fit into your already full schedule.
We offer two simple options for supervision, depending on what you need in this season.
Option 1: Supervision Only
If you already have a clinical site and are looking for consistent, supportive supervision, you can join us for a flat rate of $300 per month. This gives you a steady space to ask questions, process sessions, and build confidence as you grow into your role.
Option 2: Join the Heard Counseling Team
If you’re looking for both supervision and a practice home, we would love to explore this option with you. Associates who see a minimum of 12 clients per week with Heard Counseling participate in a shared model that includes supervision, along with access to our systems, resources, and a supportive team environment.
This option is a great fit if you’re wanting more connection, structure, and day-to-day support as you build your caseload and clinical skills. Availability is based on current practice needs.
Ready to Get Started?
Starting supervision can feel like a big (and sometimes nerve-wracking) step, and we want this part to feel easy, welcoming, and supportive from the very beginning.
The first step is reaching out to schedule a consultation. Once you’re booked, we’ll send over a short intake form so we can get to know a bit about you, your experience, and what you’re hoping for, before we even meet.
When we connect, it’s simply a conversation. We’ll talk through where you are, what’s been feeling exciting or uncertain, and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now. You’re welcome to bring questions, thoughts, or even just a general sense of “I’m figuring this out as I go.”
If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we’ll walk you through the next steps and get everything in place so you can begin with clarity and a steady sense of support behind you.
My Approach
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Lewis, LPC-S.
I have already had the privilege of supporting several LPC-Associates as they grow into confident, capable clinicians. I know how exciting and sometimes overwhelming these early years can feel, and I aim to create a space that is supportive, welcoming, and grounded in real-world guidance.
Supervision with me is a place to ask questions, explore your strengths, and build your own clinical voice. I bring experience across a variety of settings, including general mental health, schools, and private practice. I also have training in EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and online services. My niche is in supporting clients around deep identity work, specifically with those touched by adoption or DNA surprises. I work with teens, adults, and parents, helping clients manage anxiety, strengthen relationships, and build confidence.
My goal is to help you feel supported, connected, and capable as you grow so you can show up fully for your clients while building the kind of career you want.
Texas LPC-Associate supervision requires a minimum of 4 hours per month for at least 18 months, and I will guide you through that process in a way that is clear, encouraging, and tailored to your needs.
